about the new version, I wonder ...

I was documenting a little about joomla 1.6, and I have understood that to be in this new version I have to migrate content from virtually zero because the code is completely new. this means that the other components that I have installed on my joomla 1.5 will not work in Joomla 1.6.

EXP component clearly is the backbone of my project, and I am so happy with it I'm thinking of migrating, without much thought, despite the problems with some components installed.

as my site has been modified, adapted and customized the component, I wonder:

1 .- Do I lose the customization of the different skins?
2 .- Do I lose the customization of the modules?
3 .- How to make migration miss anything?

i thing joomla guys are aware of this problem and that everything will go smoothly...
1.your skins are in css and img files so it will be ok...
2.modules same...
3.dont understand question...

Hi Braca and Brandostick.
1) I think no big problem with update to new version.
Easy update with CSV files.
After release new version I write Instructions for update.
2)Joomla 1.6 have new functions in module and I update all modules.
Change no very difficult.
3)Skins to have change but no difficult too.
