I will be using this extension solely for a simple motorcycle classifieds site .

1. Is it possible for me to remove all existing car makes and models and replace them with motorcycles and will the site function in this way?

2. Is it possible to have users search classifieds by distance from zip code?

3. Can this be used within the gantry framework templates?

1)Yes, without problem .
You can Remove/Edit/Add unlimited Makes , Models etc. in admin area component .
Example Make >>>
Example Model >>>
And in Members Forum you can download "Motorcycle / Bike Database" , where all Makes and Models for motorcycle .

EXP Autos Pro component work with all Joomla CMS templates.
